Brooks Ordway Smith

A native of Vermont and Mountains of New England, Brooks developed a strong connection to the outdoors at an early age, fostering a deep appreciation for outdoor spaces and activities. This passion evolved into a career focused on helping others build skills, confidence, and a lasting connection to the mountains. In the winter Brooks can be found in Jackson WY where he teaches skiing and avalanche courses. When he’s not guiding, you’ll probably find him climbing, skiing for fun, digging into maps for the next objective, or drinking too much coffee at a trailhead somewhere. He’s all about sharing the stoke and making sure every trip is safe, rewarding, and just a little bit type-2 fun.
