Joe Hoch
Joe was born and raised in Washington and started guiding for RMI in 2016. Although he’s climbed and skied all over North America, Europe and South America, the wild mountains, glaciers and deep snowpack of the Pacific Northwest keep him coming back. Joe is an aspiring AMGA Ski Guide and an AIARE Avalanche Course Leader. He spends summers guiding for RMI on Mt Rainier and around the Northwest, and winters ski guiding and teaching avalanche courses in the Cascades. When he comes down from the hills he can often be found surfing somewhere the water is cold.
