Nicole De Petris

Despite growing up in San Francisco, Nicole has always had a passion for the outdoors: skiing, scuba diving, biking, rock climbing, and mountaineering. Her dream of exploring the high peaks was inspired by her dad who summited Denali when she was 8 years old. At 13, Nicole climbed Mt. Shasta with her father and brother. Since then she has continued her love for mountaineering by traversing glaciated terrain and summiting some of the highest peaks in the lower 48. Nicole honed her mountaineering skills in the Waddington Range, BC on a 31 day NOLS course and RMI Muir Seminar. After moving to Colorado, she began ski touring and became a trip leader and climbing instructor for the University of Colorado Boulder Outdoor Program while completing her Architectural Engineering degree. When Nicole is not studying, she can be found skiing in the Indian Peaks, in Rocky Mountain National Park or at local ski resorts, rock climbing in Boulder Canyon or making music and art with her friends.
