Paul Maier
Paul Maier began working for RMI in 1986 and currently has over 300 ascents of Mount Rainier and 10 Denali expeditions. He was a team member of the 1991 American Mt. Everest expedition and specializes in leading six-day RMI winter seminar programs on Mount Rainier. He also guides in Africa, South America, Antarctica, and the Swiss, French and Italian Alps. When Paul is not guiding, he enjoys rock and ice climbing, as well as backcountry and telemark skiing.
