Mt. McKinley Expedition: Cifelli & Team Bump Gear to 13,500’

Monday, June 16, 2025 - 7:53 pm PT

Our sled companies:

The Happy Cappy’s Express

Sled Dawg Logistics

Snow B.E.T.S Supply Co.

are here at 11,000 feet, ready to help you will all your needs.  We even offer cache back.   Please note: Trail breaking to retrieve a lost water bottle in the Polo Fields comes at an additional.

Today we got to visit the top of Motorcycle Hill, Squirrel Hill and the Polo Fields before caching our food and gear for the move to 14,000' Camp.  Unfortunately, the excursion brochure was wrong.  Motorcycles were not included, no squirrels to see on the hill and no Polo was being played.  The trek was worth the views and will still give a 5 star on Google Review. As we venture into new markets and camps, our logistic companies look forward offering our services at 14,000 camp very soon.   Just remember, you call, we haul.

Shout out to our amazing leaders; Dom, Ben, and Mike.   It’s hard to put in words how much we appreciate all the warm drinks, hot chow, dressed ropes and everything between.

On a personal note, Happy Birthday to my beautiful wife, Lauren.  Wells and Winn please give her an extra hug and kiss from me.

Love and miss yall.

Hi Dad!

It’s me, Wells. Thank goodness you’re ok! That’s a hard mountain to climb. I’ve been practicing my rollerblading and I’m really good at it now. Mony Lou misses snuggling with you for sure. And so do I.  I’m going to give you a giant hug when you get home. Mom’s making me go to bed. I love you even more than you love me and that’s possible.

Love Wells ❤️

We are so proud of you Andrew and team! I was taken very good care of yesterday. This makes my day even sweeter. We all miss you but are so happy to hear about this adventure.

Sad to hear about the lack of squirrels. Thank goodness Cap and Drago didn’t make the trip because they would be disappointed.

Love you!
Lauren

Nate and Aspen,

Keep killing it. Check for pokemon. Articuno might be up there. Also, enjoy the insanely awesome experience…. I guess… if you are into that sort of thing…

Love hearing about the progress. Been following since y’all hit the mountain. The Garmin tracker works! So happy that Aspen and Nate can do this together as a team! It’s makes me so proud to have watched them talk about it, commit to it, train for it and now on the mountain doing it! Just know that the whole team in Utah is cheering you all on! LFG!!!
